A Bride and Her Father Embrace

I rarely see this much passion and feeling in a father-n-daughter dance at weddings. If you look closely you can see her dad’s struggle as he ponders letting go of his little girl. This is my favorite picture from this wedding because it captures the essence of what we dads go through when it comes our time to let go.

As much as I love classical portraiture, this candid capture of father and daughter is one of the ways I tell the story of my clients’ wedding day. Thank you Lord for the gift of an artistic eye.
